	Desktop Version Our desktop software is perfect for the small to medium business. Simply download a copy from http://www.cocoondata.com. You can install the software immediately and start securing your important files. Even better, it's free for now! You can send the files to clients, partners, and business associates (anyone) and be sure that only they can open them. They will have to download a copy of the software to do so - but everyone can be comfortable that your data is in a much safer state! In the current version, we use email as the means to verify access to the end recipient's of files, with future releases to allow SMS/text messaging as well as other methods. This means that when you create a file for distribution, any recipient you associate with it will be required to have an active email or mobile phone number. When they attempt to open the file we use one of these channels to send a password, thus ensuring the person is the intended recipient of the file; if they are successful, we return the keys and rules and the file opens for them - all managed in the background by the software in a matter of seconds. To manage files you have created post distribution, simply login to the Cocoon Data control panel and all Secure Envelopes you have created (name, not actual file) are displayed and the permissions and rules for each recipient associated can be managed real time.
